I recently picked up the “Best of Sephora- The Great Cleanse” It retails for$58 Canadian, and as far as I am concerned is a pretty solid value.
I have never been huge into skin care but since I have started rubbing up on 30 I figured I better get it into it.
My first review from this set is for the Boscia Makeup Breakup Cool Cleansing Oil. If you are looking to buy the full size of this product it retails for $35 for 5 oz. This is a fairly good value as well, considering I have been using this oil for two weeks every single day and have only made my way through the top inch or so of the sample which is only 1.7 oz.
As the name states, it is an oil based make up remover with a minty smell.
From Sephora’s website:
What it is formulated to do:
This effective formula gently melts impurities and makeup, including waterproof, without leaving an oily residue. It is formulated with antioxidants and botanicals to soothe and protect skin. Hydrangea leaf helps to purify skin and minimize pores, geranium helps invigorate skin while supporting natural circulation, and botanical amino acids leave skin smooth and free of impurities.
The claims are pretty much bang on. I pump a few pumps onto my hand and apply it to my face in circular motions. I take a small amount and lightly apply it around my eyes and across my eyelashes to breakdown any mascara and eyeliner. I will then wipe my face off with a damp washcloth and everything comes off in the first wipe.
It doesn’t bother my eyes at all, and leaves no residue or oilyness. I haven’t had to use as much moisturizer since I started using this, it is helping my skin retain hydration. It takes my makeup removal routine from four products to one, and I notice a huge difference in the dryness of my skin.
I notice a mint smell that clears my sinus’s out and is oddly refreshing at the end of the day. I really love this product and don’t dread my end of the night routine anymore! I strongly recommond this for anyone who is as lazy as me with taking off makeup before bed.
