Urban Decay Afterglow Blush Review

Since I returned both the KVD Primer and the MUFE HD foundation I had a few dollars to play with so I decided to give the Urban Decay Afterglow blush a shot. I have also been trying to find a perfect purple blush for the longest time. Enter Bittersweet, the most PERFECT purple blush on the planet.

Price: $31 for 0.23 Oz. Bittersweetopen

Claims on Sephora Website Urban Decay Afterglow Blush leaves a sexy, lit-from-within glow. Fake a perfect flush with this eight-hour formula that creates the lingering, radiant look of a romantic rendezvous. Infused with light-diffusing pigments to enhance and perfect the skin, this highly-blendable, finely milled formula goes on sheer and provides eight long hours of lightweight, wearable, ultra-creamy color.

My Take

BittersweetSwatchI really love this blush. I thought it would have been really intense and more for a costuming look but it looks amazing when paired with a bright eye. It completes a more complex look or gives a neutral look a pop.  It lasts all day and I used it for a week straight and it looks like I have barely touched the pan. It swatches beautifully and blends out to a stunning flush.

I used this with aIMG_1726 2 bright look a few days ago and it unforunatly is the only picture I have of it on at the moment, but it gives a great idea on how it can complete a look.

    1. I honestly have no freaking idea, I used to use it before a couple years ago and I loved it. I went back and bought another bottle thinking I was going to stray from my true match and get real fancy.. FAIL… The bottle was like painting toothpaste on my face. I don’t know if it was just a bad batch, but it left a bad taste in my mouth for the product going forward.

  2. Ok, between your review and the crazy amount of samples at Sephora (there’s a code right now to get 3 extras) I got Bitter Sweet blush finally with my birthday freebie. I had to write about it on my blog over at abadhomance.com and of course I’ll review it too when it comes because I am so pale I’m a liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittle bit terrified of that purple. But I WANT IT! hahahahaha!!!
