Milani Blushes | Swatches | Review

I have been on the fence for picking up any kind of Milani product for a few years now. About a year ago I picked up two of their lipsticks and they left something to be desired for me. Other than that we don’t get a large range of their line.

I finally came across IMG_1834these at the Real Canadian Superstore the other day and they were on sale for $7.99 each so I picked two up. They only had four options and the other two had been touched… Damn product touchers out roaming, touching up on all the things. I have seen these around online with not too much information.

My first experience with a Milani face product (thank the lord) was very positive. The molding of the blushes into roses is very pleasing to the eye and looks lovely in my collection.

IMG_1838Packaging: I have always been a fan of gold packaging as well, so without question I was drawn to these. Gold adds a rich addition to your makeup drawer.  The only thing I  don’t particularly like about the packaging is the top plastic seems cheap. I appreciate that it is clear plastic to see the imprint on the blushes, so I don’t have much of a suggestion other than to have made it glass, but I suppose that would have been much more expensive and likely be fairly breakable so likely not the best idea.

IMG_1839I picked up Romantic Rose which is a close dupe for Hourglasses Mood Exposure, and Coral Cove gives me the same finish as Melba by Mac. I like finding dupes for higher end products, especially for travel!

I have been on a blush buying craze lately! What are your faves?!

  1. I am a huge fan of Milani Baked Blush and I’m super picky! I return everything!! I have 5 or 6 now and I love them. I haven’t tried the matte blush though. I’ve heard their lipsticks are good too. I did a bunch of swatches and a review of the Milani blush and a bronzer. It’s on my site. See what you think. I really love the baked blush!!
